Who We Are

We are a family owned business in Almont, Michigan, a small town just 1 hour north of downtown Detroit.

 

How We Started

Vocatus was started in a small garage during the pandemic out of a need for household furniture.

Vocatus is a Latin word meaning “I have been called”. We feel very strongly that God has called us to build this business and glorify Him through it.

 

Our Mission

At Vocatus Furniture, our mission is to glorify God through our craftsmanship, creating high-quality, handcrafted furniture that brings beauty and purpose to homes. As a family-owned business, we are committed to serving our customers with integrity, love, and excellence, reflecting our faith in every piece we build.

We strive to give back to the community by supporting local artisans, sourcing sustainable materials, and dedicating a portion of our profits to charitable initiatives that make a positive impact. Through our work, we aim to build not only furniture but also lasting relationships that honor God and uplift those around us.

How We Give Back

We believe every family deserves a furnished home. That's why with every purchase, we donate a portion of the sale to the Furniture Bank of Metro Detroit to ensure families in metropolitan Detroit have properly furnished homes, children have a healthy start by sleeping in warm beds or cribs, and vulnerable individuals can live with dignity.
